Let the two digit number be 10x + y
7 times of the number = 4 times of reverse of the number
Therefore
7 (10x+y) = 4(10y+x)
70x + 7y = 40y + 4x
66x - 33y = 0
11(6x - 3y) = 0
6x - 3y = 0
6x = 3y
y = 2x
The difference of the digits = 3
Here y is the largest number since y is 2 times of x ⇒ y = 2x
therefore
y - x = 3
2x - x = 3
x = 3
y = 2x = 2*3 = 6
Therefore the number is 10(3) + 6 = 36
