7 times the reciprocal of a number added to 2 by 3 is 3 find the number

Let the number be x

Then it's reciprocal=1/x

now 7 times of 1/x= 7/x

now 7/x added to 2=2+7/x

=2x+7/x

and according to the question 2x+7/x =3

so x =

2x + 7=3 × x

2x+7=3x

3x - 2x =7

x =7

so the number is 7
