Answer:

Let Veer invested be ₹x for 12 months

In respect of 1 month, Veer's investment

= ₹(x×12)

= ₹12x

Ayush invested ₹30000 for (12-6) = 6 months

In respect of 1 month, Ayush's investment

= ₹ (30000×6)

= ₹180000

Ratio of their investment = 12x : 180000

= x : 15000

Sum of their ratio = (x+15000)

Total profit = ₹33000 (given)

A.T.Q,

Veer's Profit = 18000

or, x/(x+15000) × 33000 = 18000

or, 33000x/(x+15000) = 18000

or, 33000x = 18000 × (x+15000)

or, 33000x = 18000x + 18000×15000

or, 33000x - 18000x = 18000×15000

or, 15000x = 18000×15000

or, x = 18000×15000/15000

or, x = 18000

Answer :- The amount invested by Veer is ₹ 18000.
