7.The joints are responsible for neck movement in all direction. If the body has no joints then it would been very difficult in moving the body region in all direction. The elbow, shoulder and neck are mediated via pivotal joints for this movements.

8.We can move only the lower jaw because the upper jaw is connected with the skull by an immovable joint while the lower jaw is connected by a movable joint which makes the movement possible
