7. What happens to the force between two objects, if :
(a) the mass of one object is doubled ?
(b). the distance between the objects is one third (1/3) ?
(c) the masses of both the objects are halfed (1/2) ?

Explanation:

According to law of gravitation, the force between two objects (m1 and m2) is proportional to their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance(R) between them. F = 2F , hence force will be doubled. F = 4F, hence force become one-fourth of its initial force.

Answer:

F=G.M.m/d²

a)F=G.2M.m/d²=2×G.M.m/d²

force becomes 2 times

b) distance is 1/3

F=G.M.m/(1/3d)²=G.M.m/1/9d²

=9×G.M.m/d²

force becomes 9 times

c) mass of both object is halved

F=G.M.m/d²

F=G.(1/2M.1/2m)/d²=G.1/4.M.m/d²=1/4×G.M.m/d²

so force becomes 1/4 times

hope this helps,if so then don't forget to thank and mark as BRAINLIEST.....
