Answer:

last 2 resistors can be neglected since they are open.

Next 3 are in series so total 3ohm

which is parallel to 1 ohm

so Reff=3/4

Answer:

 \bold{  \frac{11}{4}  \Omega} \\

Explanation :

Here , 1Ω , 1Ω and 1Ω are in series combination .

For series combination , we use :

 \star \boxed{ \bold{ r_{eq}=  r_1  + r_2 + r_3 + .....}} \\

After solving this we get 3 Ω which is parallel combination with another 1Ω .

For parallel combination , we use :

 \star \boxed{ \bold{ \dfrac{1}{r_{eq}}  =  \dfrac{1}{r_1}  +  \dfrac{1}{r_2}  +  \dfrac{1}{r_3}  + ...}}

After solving , we get 3/4 Ω .

Now , all becomes in series combination and we get ,

11/4 Ω .

Solution refer to the attachment.
