Answer:

(x - x - 1) - (1 + 2x - 3x) \\ = ( - 1 ) - (1 - x) \\ = - 1 -1 + x \\ = x - 2

Therefore x-2 should be added to 1+2x-3x to get x-x-1

Answer:

Subtract them

Step-by-step explanation:

x - x - 1                                    x - x - 1

2x - 3x + 1                              -3x + 2x + 1

(-)  (+)   (-)                               (+)   (-)     (-)

x  + 2x - 2                               4x - 3x - 2

your answer is x + 2x - 2 or 4x -  3x - 2 (bcoz there is probability of getting either of the answer as correct as one of the expression has same variable) [To check which is correct answer go to last page of your textbook]
