Answer:

South America, also known as the Land of Extremes, is the fourth largest continent in the world and extends from 12°N to 55°S latitudes. Along with it, its various relief features would make me find variation in the geographical and climatic experience when I would move from Caribbean Sea, the northern part of it to Cape horn, the southern part of it. Here are my findings:

1.Around the Caribbean Sea, there lies the Guiana Highland, one of the Eastern Highlands of the continent. The climate would be warm in this place.

2.On moving few miles towards the south, I would be approaching the equator so, the temperature would gradually increase along with the increase in humidity and I’d finally reach the Amazon rainforests of the continent.

3.I would find the tropical grasslands, often known as Campos in the Brazil where the climate would be hot and dry.

4.Upon reaching the southernmost part of the continent, I would reach the Argentina where I could find the temperate grassland known as the Pampas. The climate would be hot in summer and cold in winter, with moderate rainfall in summer.

Apart from these, I could also find moderate climate if I went to the coastal regions, or extremely cold climate near the Andes, the young fold mountains. The landforms would also change accordingly.
