Answer:

Hii mate!

Explanation:

Let's do it in steps,

First we will calculate the acceleration due to gravity on moon:

so as we know that g' on moon is 1/6th of the g on earth

=> g on earth is 9.8m/s^2

=> so g' on moon will be g/6

=> 9.8/6= 1.6m/s^2

Talking about the mass of person on moon, you should first mention the mass of the person on earth which is not given here,

supposing the mass of the person to be m here

=> then mass of the person on moon will remain same because mass is a universal quantity, it will remain same throughout universe, but if we talk about weight, it will change,

and it will change as for example,

weight on earth will be m*g=w (because w is a force and you must be knowing that F=ma, according to newton's second law of motion)

so similarly weight on moon will be m*g' or simply m*g/6

and the unit of weight will be in newton.

Now talking about the height of jump,

using the third equation of motion

v^{2} =u^{2}-2as\\

v^{2} =0 (v at max height is zero)

u^{2}=2as

on earth a=approx 10, (9.8)

u^{2}=40m/s

now for moon,

:: we will assume that the person jumps with the same initial velocity,

a on moon will be 10/6

40=2*10/6*s

s=12m

Sorry for making the answer too long, but explanation was important,

I hope it helped you.
