With PQ of length 5.6 cm as diameter, draw a circle.

[Hint. Draw perpendicular bisector of PQ. If M is mid-point of PQ, then take M  as the centre of the circle and length MP as radius draw the circle.]

  • Given,
  • PQ is a diameter with a length of 5.6 cm.
  • Construction:
  • with P as the centre, and radius more than half PQ, draw arcs above and below the line PQ.
  • repeat the step with Q as the center.
  • a point where the 2 arcs intersect above PQ, mark it as R.
  • a point where the 2 arcs intersect below PQ, mark it as S.
  • Join RS.
  • a point where, the lines PQ and RS intersect, mark it as M.
  • here, M represents the centre of the circle.
