Republic Day is also celebrated almost similarly and we have wonderful parades which start from Vijay Chowk and ends at Red Fort, New Delhi. Another national festival that is celebrated is the Gandhi Jayanti which is Gandhiji`s birthday and the whole nations pays tribute to the Father of Nation. These festivals are celebrated throughout the nation with great pride and honor.
