Here is your answer,mate!
...
7(x+2)=2(9x-4)

=>7x+14=18x-8

=>7x-18x=-8-14

=>-11x=-22

Hence,by multiplying by (-11) on both sides,we get,
x=2.

Checking:
x = 2
7(x+2)
=7(2+2)
= 7(4)
=28.

2(9x-4)
=2[(9Ɨ2)-4]
=2(18-4)
=2(14)
=28.

Thus,x = 2.
