Solution:

 {7x} - \dfrac{5x}{2} = 3

==>  {7x} - \frac{5x}{2} = 3

==>  \dfrac {14x - 5x}{2} = 3

==> {9x} = {6}

==>  {x} = \dfrac{2} {3}
