hi friend,

given.,7 (y+3)-2 (x+2)=14

=>7y+21-2x-4=14

=>7y-2x+3=0

=>x=7y+3/2-----(1)

by substituting this in 4 (y-2)+3 (x-3)=2

=>4y-8+3x-9=2

=>4y+3x-19=0

=>4y+(21y+9/2)-19=0

=>8y+21y+9-38=0

=>29y-29=0

=>y=1

by substituting the value in x=7y+3/2

=>x=10/2=5

I hope this will help u :)

Answer:

x=5 and y =1

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :7 (y+3)-2 (x+2)=14  --A

          4 (y-2)+3 (x-3)=2 --B

To Find: Solve by substitution method

Solution:

Simplify A

7 (y+3)-2 (x+2)=14

7y+21-2x-4=14

7y-2x+17=14

7y-2x=-3

2x-7y=3 ---1

Simplify B

4 (y-2)+3 (x-3)=2

4y-8+3x-9=2

4y+3x-17=2

4y+3x=19 ---2

Substitute the value of x from 1 in 2

4y+3(\frac{3+7y}{2})=19

8y+9+21y=38

29y=29

y=1

Substitute the value of y in 2

4y+3x=19

4(1)+3x=19

3x=15

x=5

Hence x = 5 and y =1
