Step-by-step explanation

7(y+3)-2(X+2)

7y+21-2x-4

7y-2x+17.=14

7y-2x=-3

2x-7y=3 ------(eq-1)

4(y-2)+3(x-3)

4y-8+3x-9

4y+3x-17.=2

3x+4y=19-------(eq-2)

in case if you have to find X and y also,

3x=19-4y

x=19-4y

3

and

2x-7y=3

2x=3+7y

x=3+7y

2

hence,

19-4y = 3+7y

3 2

2(19-4y) = 3(3+7y)

38-8y=9+21y

29=29y

y=1

and X=5
