7) of “a number”.

So need this “a number”

Oh wait, 150%(1.5) of this “a number” is 90!!!!

ok lets not be excited and get back, so,

1.5 times (or 150%) of “a number” equals 90.

1 times (or 100%) of “ a number” equals 90/1.5

I thought of dividing the entire thing by 1.5 to get 1 times of “a number”

1 times of “a number” equals 60.

Now 1 times of something is itself

So “a number” is 60.

Now getting back to first line of the answer

70% or 0.7 times of “a number( which is 60” is

0.7 times 60

This is 42.

Hence the answer is 42!
