Total students = 70

Who chose zoo = 28

Percent of participants who chose the zoo =

(The people who chose the zoo/Total students) * 100 = (28/70) * 100 = 4 * 10

= 40 % people chose the zoo

Since the expression :  (28/70) * 100 gives us our answer of 40 %

Therefore, answer : The expression is :   (28/70) * 100 ; and  the result is 40 % people chose the zoo

Hope it helps!
