Step-by-step explanation:

well...I had to google to understand what is the meaning of odd days in this problem. So, I would first define odd day here:

Odd days in a yeas are days which could not form part of a complete week.

so in a normal year of 365 days, there are 52 complete weeks which comprise 364 days and one day is left... that is called odd days. In a leap. year number of odd days is 2.

Now, a century or 100 year may have either 24 or 25 leap years depending on the fact that century starts with a leap year or not. By century I mean like 1900 to 1999 and not 1901 to 2000. For calculation purpose, we take 24 leap years in a century. So a century has 24*2+76*1 odd days

= 48+76 = 124. after removing the groups of 7, 5 odd days will remain.

In every 400 years, there will be a year which will have 25 leap years

hence total odd days in 400 years = 5*3+25*2+75*1 = 140

after removing groups of 7, no odd days remain. so in 400 years, there is no odd day.

now in remaining 300 years there will be 5*3 = 15 odd days. after removing the groups of 7, only 1 odd day will remain.

hope I am correct and thanks for the question, I also got enlightened.
