Answer:

In the story 'THE BLACK AEROPLANE', the pilot was flying the Old Dakota to go to his homeland (England), from Paris, France. Suddenly, huge black clouds appeared in the sky, leading to a storm. The pilot lost the connection and all the devices of the plane were getting damaged, one by one. The compass turned round and round, and the fuel was also going to finish within the time interval.

Then, the pilot saw another pilot in the Black Aeroplane, in that storm, showing him the direction to land safely. So, the pilot followed that Black Aeroplane, and as such, he did land safely.

It was a miracle after, that when the pilot went to thank the pilot in the Black Aeroplane, showing him the direction to land safely, he was not there. Infact, when he did asked the woman in the control room, about that Black Aeroplane flying in the storm, she was shocked as she could see no other plane flying in that storm other than his.
