To find :-

How many students are not good in mathematics

Solution :-

Number of students good in mathematics = 72% of 25

$72 \times \frac{1}{100} \times 25$

$\frac{72 \times 1 \times 25}{100}$

$\frac{72 \times 1 \times 1}{4}$

$\frac{72}{4}$

= 18

So 18 students are good in mathematics

Therefore

➡ Number of students not good in mathematics = Total students - students good in mathematics

= 25 - 18

= 7

So 7 students are not good in mathematics

➡ Percentage of students not good in mathematics =

$\frac{students \: not \: good \: in \: mathematics \: }{total \: number \: of \: students} \times 100\%$

$\frac{7}{25} \times 100\%$

$7 \times 4\%$

$28\%$

➡ So 28% students are not good in mathematics
