To Find:-

Number of students not interested in mathematics.

Given:-

72% of the students are interested in maths number of students = 25

solution:-

Method 1

If 72% of 25 are interested in maths

Then, number of students interested in maths

\implies\dfrac{72}{100} \times 25

\implies \dfrac{72}{4}

= 18

Then, number of students doesn't like Mathematics =

Total number of students - Number of students interested on Mathematics

= 25 - 18

= 7

\therefore 7 students are not interested on Maths.

Method 2

Given:-

Percentage of students who like maths = 72%

Now, percent of students not interested in maths = ( 100 - 72 )%

= 28 %

Now, 28% students doesn't like maths

The number of student doesn't like maths

28% of 25

\implies\dfrac{28}{100} \times 25

\implies \dfrac{28}{4}

= 7 students

Hence, 7 students are not interested on Maths.
