hello friend...!!

• According to the question, we should calculate the area of the parallelogram

• The given vectors are
A= 2i +3j
B = i + 4j

area \: of \: parallelogam \:  =  |a \times b|

therefore, the cross product of A x B is

( 2i + 3j) x ( i + 4j )

equals to,

i ( 0-0) -j (0-0) +k (8-3)

implies,

area = 0i -0j +5k

the magnitude of the area 5 sq units.

therefore option ' D ' is the correct answer.
