\red{Question:-}

72% of 25 students are good in mathematics. How many students are not good at it?

\green{Answer:-}

Total number of students = 25

It is given that 72% are good in mathematics. So:-

{\implies}72\% \: of \: 25 \\ {\implies} \frac{72}{100}  \times 25 \\  {\implies}\frac{72}{4}  \\ {\implies}18

Therefore, 18 students are good at mathematics.

The number of students which are not good at mathematics = Total number of students - Number of students which are good at mathematics.

The number of students which are not good at mathematics =25 - 18 = 7 students

Your answer = 7 students

\red{Question:-}

Basket contains 350 eggs. If 12% of eggs are rotten, find the number of eggs which were good and sold.

\green{Answer:-}

Total number of eggs=350

It is given that 12% of eggs are rotten.So:-

{\implies}12\% \: of \: 350 \\{\implies}  \frac{12}{100}  \times 350 \\{\implies}  6 \times  7 \\ {\implies}42

Therefore, 42 eggs were rotten.

The number of eggs which were good and sold = Total number of eggs - Rotten eggs

The number of eggs which were good and sold = 350 - 42 = 308 eggs

Your answer = 308 eggs

Answer:

Number\: of\: students\: good \:in\\ mathematics = 72\% \:of \:25

i)Number\: of\: students\: not \:good \:in\\ mathematics = (100-72)\% \:of \:25\\= 28\% \:of \:25\\=\frac{28}{100}\times 25\\= 7

 ii) Total \:eggs \: in \:the \: Basket = 350

 Number \:of \: rotten \:eggs = 12\%\: of \:350

 Number \: of \: good \: eggs = (100-12)\% \:of \:350 \\= 88\% \:of \:350\\= 88\% \times 350\\= \frac{88}{100} \times 350\\= 44\times 7 \\= 308
