Answer:

The no. of eggs he had at first = 12 4/7

Step-by-step explanation:

= 10% + 46% = 56%

So, 56% of X = 72

= 56/100 of X = 72

= 72 ÷ 56/100

= 72 x 100/56

= 12  4/7

Hope this helps!!

Answer:

Let the man have x number of eggs in the first

He eats 10% , then remaining is 0.9x

Of this 46% is sold, so remaining is 0.9x0.54

This is 72

0.9×0.54x=72

x=72/(0.9×0.54)=80/0.54=4000/27
