74 is divided into two parts so that 5 times of one part and 11 times the other part are together equal to 454. the parts are: solution

Let one part is x. Then, other part is 74-x
Given,
$5x + 11 \times (74 - x) = 454 \\ 5x - 11x + 814 = 454 \\ 6x = 360 \\ x = 60$
Therefore parts are 60 and 14
