To Find:

✏ Velocity vector and acceleration vector in a uniform circular motion are related as..

Concept:

✏ In uniform circular motion, the direcrion of velocity vector which acts along the tangent to the path, changes continuously but its magnitude always remains vonstant (v = rω). So, circular motion is an accelerated motion.

✏ As v and r are constant, so the magnitude of rhe centripetal acceleration is a constant. But the direction of a_c changes continuouslu, pointing always towards the centre. So. centripetal acceleraion is not a constant vector.

✏ The resultant acceleration of an object in circular motion is towards the centre only if the speed is constant.

✏ So, it is clear that, In a uniform circular motion, the acceleration is directed towards the centre while velocity vector is perpendicular to acceleration vector.

➡ So, the final answer is

(B) perpendicular to each other.
