Let the cost of a bat = Rs X
Then cost of a ball = Rs Y
Therefore, 7X + 6Y = 3800___(1)
3X + 5Y = 1750____________(2)
Equate
21X + 18Y = 11400 & 21X + 35Y = 12250
Subtract
(21X - 21X) + (18Y - 35Y) = (11400 - 12250)
- 17Y = - 850
Y = 850 / 17
Y = 50
Therefore, cost of each ball is Rs 50.

Subsitute Y value in (1)
7X + 6x50 = 3800
7X = 3800 - 300
7X = 3500
X = 3500 / 7
X = 500
Therefore, cost of each bat is Rs 500.
