Answer: Nitrogen gas

Explanation:

Given,

☛ Volume of gas, V = 5.6 L

☛ Given mass of the gas, mass = 7g

To Find,

☛ The gas

Solution,

We know,

Volume of a gas at S.T.P = 22.4 L

Number of Moles = Volume / 22.4

☛ M = 5.6 / 22.4

M = 0.25 mol

Now,

Number of moles = Mass given / Molar mass

☛ 0.25 = 7 / Molar mass

☛ Molar mass = 7 / 0.25

☛ Molar mass = 28 g

We got molar mass of the gas as 28 g,

But we know that Nitrogen gas has gram atomic mass ( gram molecular mass ) of 28g

Hence, The following gas is NITROGEN gas.
