7kg of alloy contain metal A&B in the ratio of 5 is to 9.Find the difference between the quantity of metal A & B used in given alloy

Let amount of

A=5x

B=9x

=>5x+9x=7

=>x=7/14=1/2

Therefore A=2.5 and B =4.5

So answer is 4.5 - 2.5= 2
