integrated farming is type of sustainable farming. The main objective of integrated farming is cost minimization and profit maximization. It can be achieved by combining all the farm components like dairy, Fishery, crop land etc. In integrated farming the output of one farming system is integrated to the input of other .

For example the wastes of dairy like cow dung can be used in preparing compost that can be used for crop production. This on one hand manages the waste and on other hand reduces the fertiliser use which ultimately reduces cost of cultivation. More over use organic manures is found to increase soil health and improve its physical characteristics
