Given

→ 7 sin²∅ + 3 cos²∅ = 4

Solution

→ 7 sin²∅ + 3 cos²∅ = 4

→ 4 sin²∅ + 3 sin²∅ + 3 cos²∅ = 4

→ 4 sin²∅ + 3(sin²∅ + cos²∅) = 4

→ 4 sin²∅ + 3 = 4

→ sin²∅ = ¼

→ sin∅ = ½

Hence value of ∅ is 30.

→ cosec∅ + sec∅

→ cosec 30° + sec 30°

→ 2 + 2/√3

→ 2 + 2√3/3

→ (6 + 2√3)/3

Hence required answer is (6 + 2√3)/3.
