7th term of parallel series 30. What is the sum of the first 13 terms?

Answer:

Given a7 = 30

a+6d = 30

Sum of first 13 terms = a+ a+d + a+2d +…. +a+12d

= 13a+d(1+2+…12)

= 13a + 78 d

= 13(a+6d)

= 13×30

= 390
