let the 2 digit number by 10 y+ x
7(10y+x)=4(10x+y)……(1)
x-y=3………(2)
so,from eq1
70y+7x=40x+4y
66y=33x
2y=x...........(3)
from,eq 2
x=3+y
substitute in eq 3
2y=y+3
y=3
so x=y+3
x=6
so,10y+x=10(3)+6=36
hence the required no is 36
NOTE:if u take 10x+y=10(6)+3=63
hence there are two numbers i.e; 36&63
