(7x - 2)/(3 - y) = 2

(x - 3)/7y = 8/7

x - 3= (8/7) × 7y

x - 3= 8y

x = 8y +3

7x - 2 = 2 × (3 - y)

7x - 2 = 6 - y

7x + y = 8

7(8y + 3) + y = 8

56y + 21 + y = 8

57y = -13

y = -13/57

x = 8y +3

= 8(-13/57) + 3

=( -104 / 57 ) + 3

= (-104 + 171)/57

x = 67/57.
