7x  +  \frac{2}{4}  + 2 = 2x -  \frac{4}{7}

 \frac{28x + 2 + 8}{4}  =  \frac{14x - 4}{7}

 \frac{28x + 10}{4}  =  \frac{14x - 4}{7}

28x + 10  \times 7 = 14x - 4 \times 4

196x + 70 = 56x - 16

196x - 56x =  - 70 - 16

140x =  - 86

x =  \frac{ - 86}{140}

x = 0.614
