Answer:

Applying cross multiplication method.!

(7x-4)×(3x) = (5x-2)×(3x+4)

21x^2-12x = 5x(3x+4) - 2(3x+4)

21x^2-12x = 15x^2+20x - 6x-8

21x^2-15x^2 = 12x+20x-6x - 8

6x^2 = 26x - 8

6x^2 - 26x + 8 = 0

Factorisation method:

(6x^2 - 24x) + (-2x + 8) = 0

6x(x - 4) - 2(x - 4) = 0

(6x-2)(x-4) = 0

2(3x-1)(x-4) = 0

x = 1/3 and 4

Hope it helps.!
