14x - 10y = 22 (iii)

15x + 10y = 65 (iv)

Adding equations (iii) and (iv), we have :

29x = 87 (v)

Solving for x, we have :

x = 3 [from equation (v)]

Putting x = 3 in equation (i), we have :

7*3 - 5y = 11

or, 5y = 21-11

or, 5y = 10

or, y = 2.

Hence, for the given system of equations, the values of x and y are 3 and 2 respectively.
