& x + z=7 … … …(2)

& y + z=12 … … …(3)

by equation (1), x=5-y , put this value of x in equation (2)

therefore, 5-y+z=7

so, z=7–5+y

so, z=2+y put this value in equation (3)

therefore, y + 2 + y=12

so, y + y=10

hence 2y = 10

so value of y is 5.

By putting its value in equation (1) and (3), we will get value of x=0 and value of z =7.
