7y + 21 - 2x - 4 = 14 \\ 7y + 17 - 2x - 14 = 0 \\ 7y - 2x + 3 = 0 \\ 7y - 2x = - 3 \\ 7y = - 3 + 2x \\ y = \frac{ - 3 + 2x}{7} ....................(i) \\ 4y - 8 + 3x - 9 = 2 \\ 4y + 3x - 17 - 2 = 0 \\ 4y + 3x - 19 = 0 \\ 4( \frac{ - 3 + 2x}{7}) + 3x - 19 = 0 \\ \frac{ - 12 + 8x}{7} + 3x - 19 = 0 \\ \frac{ - 12 + 8x + 21x - 133}{7} = 0 \\ 29x - 145 = 0 \\ 29x = 145 \\ x = \frac{145}{29} \\ x = 5 \\ y = \frac{ - 3 + 2x}{7} \\ y = \frac{ - 3 + 2(5)}{7} \\ y = \frac{ 7}{7} \\y =1
