Script for Annual Social function

• Good morning to everyone present here. Today Piyush Joshi and I, Dhvani Ujjwal will be hosting the annual social function for junior college.

• A warm welcome to all the students and faculties. A special mention for our chief guest, Mr Umang Bhatia, the renowned author of "As the wind goes". We are honoured by your presence today.
• For lighting of the traditional lamp, we would like to call upon the Principal, Ms Mary D'souza, teacher coordinator, Mr Shubhash Ghosh, Student council President, Arpita Chawla and Mr Umang Bhatia.
• Let us begin with the function now. The annual function is to commemorate the contribution of all the students and teachers academically and in co-curricular throughout the year.
• The event shall progress with a few cultural performances by the students such as dance, drama, a musical set up and a few recitals. Please make sure to enjoy the event and appreciate all the hard work that has been put behind it.
• Now we would like to hold the Valedictory ceremony for the students who have excelled in the various fields throughout the year.
• Now we request the Student Council president to share a few words on behalf of the students and end the event for today.
• We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone for attending the event. Special thanks to the faculties who supported the students to put up the wonderful show and the Principal for always having our backs and providing us with every requirement as soon as possible. Lastly, thank you Mr Umang Bhatia for coming today.
