so, 8-2√5 =p/q                            {where q≠0}

-2√5 =p/q  -8  

2√5 =   -p/q  +8  

2√5 = (8q -p)/q

√5 = (8q -p)/2q

here , (8q -p)/2q is a rational number but it is equal to irrational number

so, it is a irrational number
