a) Name any one mixture that you see or use or eat.

  • We drink a mixture of sugar and water
  • Sugar and water are a homogeneous mixture.
  • A homogeneous mixture is one in which there is perfect mixing of the components of the mixture.
  • It is also a mixture in which the composition is the same throughout the mixture.
  • Two individual substances (sugar and water) are evenly distributed and do not separate in this homogeneous solution.

(b) Are all its components useful?

  • Partially yes, both the components are useful because it helps to replenish out bodies but excess sugar is sometimes

(c) If not, then list the useless or harmful component

  • Excess sugar in the water increases the risk of a heart attack.
