(i) the area of A ABC,
(ii) the length of perpendicular from A to BC.​

(ii) by pythagorus therem,

16 + 16 = (H)^2

(H)^2 = 32

H = 2√2

now let the base BC

now area of triangle ABC = 8 sq.cm.

1/2 × b× h = 8

1/2 × 2√2 × h = 8

h = 8/√2cm

h = 4√2 cm
