\huge\bold\green{Solution : \longrightarrow}

 \mathsf{= > \frac{8 - 3y}{5y + 2} = \frac{1}{17}} \\

 \mathsf{= > 1(5y + 2) = 17(8 - 3y)}

 \mathsf{= > 5y + 2 = 136 - 51y}

\mathsf{ = > 5y + 51y = 136 - 2}

\mathsf{ = > 56y = 134}

\mathsf{ = > y = \frac{134}{56}} \\

\mathsf{ = > y = \frac{67}{28}} \\

by cross multiplication, we get
17(8-3y)=1(5y+2)
= 136-51y=5y+2
= 136-2=5y+51y
= 134=56y
= y= 134/56
= y= 67/28
