The dipole-dipole forces between SO2 molecules are stronger than the induced dipole-induced dipole forces between CO2 molecules. Hence, sulfur dioxide has a higher boiling point

Explanation:

So2 and CO2 both are triatomic molecules.But they do not have same dipole moments.So2is bent and having greater dipole .so,it has higher boiling point than that of CO2.
