Equation of alternating current is :

 \sf \: l = 50 sin(200\pi t)  -  -  -  -  - (1)

General equation of AC current is,

 \sf l = l_osin( \omega t - kx) -  -  -  -  - (2)

Comparing equations (1) and (2), we can deduce that :

 \longrightarrow \sf  \omega = 200 \pi\\  \\  \longrightarrow \sf \: 2\pi  \times  \nu = 200\pi \\  \\  \longrightarrow \sf \:  \nu =  \dfrac{200\pi}{2\pi}  \\  \\    \longrightarrow  \boxed{ \boxed{\sf \:  \nu = 100 \ Hz}}

Frequency of the alternating current is 100Hz.
