by newton's equation

s=1/2×gt^2

here,distance1=h1

first t sec=2s

h1=1/2×g(2)^2. (1)

h2=1/2×g(2+2)^2 (2)

h3=1/2×g(2+2+2)^2. (3)

by taking ratio

h1/h2/h3=(1/2×g×4)/(1/2×g×16)/

(1/2×h×36)

=4/16/36

=1:4:9

hence,a)1:4:9 is correct
