Answer:

10 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

A can finish work in 15 days.

B can finish work in 10 days.

Required:-

In how many days the remaining work can be done by A

Answer :-

work done by A and B in one day

(a + b)  \\  \\ ( \frac{1}{15}  +  \frac{1}{10} ) \\  \\  \frac{1}{6}

work done by A and B in two days

 \frac{1}{6}  \times 2 \\  \\  \frac{1}{3}

Remaining work

1 -  \frac{1}{3}  \\  \\  \frac{2}{3}

Now 1/15 is work done by A in one day

So, 2/3 work done by A is

15 \times  \frac{2}{3}  \\  \\ 10

Hence A will finish the remaining work in 10 days
