Solution: Curved Surface area of surface = 2πrh

Area of base (circle) = πr²

Total Area of Body = 2πrh + πr²

πr(2h + r)

  • h = 10 m
  • r = 2.8 m

→ π(2.8) × [2(10) + 2.8] m²

→ 22/7 × 28/10 × [20 + 2.8] m²

→ 22 × 4/10 × 22.8 m²

200.64 m²

Cost per sq. meter = Rs 385

Cost 200.64 sq. meter = 200.64 × Rs 385

Cost of metalic body = Rs 77,246.4

Answer:

curved surface area - 2πrh

area of base - πr²

Step-by-step explanation:

2×22/7×28/10×10 + 22/7×28/10×28/10

=176+24.64

=200.64

the cost of the sheet required at the rate of rupees 385 per metre square

rupees 385 × 200.64

rupees 77246.40 is the answer of this question
