A.)Let A's share be x

Let B's share be 3x

Let C's share be 4x

AC/Q

x+3x+4x=5600

8x=5600

=5600/8=700

A's share=Rs.700

B's share=Rs.2100

C's share=Rs.2800

(B) Find the sum of squares of these parts.

let us take two part one is x and second is y

sum. x + y = 31

then y = 31 - x

sum of squares = x ^ 2 +( 31 - x )^ 2 = 481

= x ^ 2 + 961 + x ^ 2 - 62 x = 481

= 2 x ^ 2 + 961 - 481 - 62 x = 0

= 2x ^ 2 + 480 - 62 x = 0

2 ( x ^ 2 + 240 - 31x ) = 0

x ^ 2 - 31 x + 240 = 0

x ^ 2 - 16 x - 15 x + 240 = 0

x ( x - 16 ) - 15 ( x - 6) = 0

(x- 15) ( x - 16 ) = 0

x = 15 , x = 16

put in y = 31 - 16 = 15

hence X and y are 16 , 15
